Our Services

Chiropractic

Chiropractic care focuses on the mechanics of the musculoskeletal system and its relationship with the nervous system. A chiropractic adjustment involves quick and gentle manipulation of the spine, surrounding joints, and soft tissues in order to improve joint motion and function. Other modalities, rehabilitative exercises, and stretches are also utilized to further decrease the patient’s symptoms.

Applied Kinesiology (AK)

Applied Kinesiology is a diagnostic and therapeutic technique used to assess whether a patient has imbalances or deficiencies of function related to their anatomy, neurology, physiology, biochemistry and/or nutrition. The structural, chemical, and emotional aspects of health are evaluated using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods.

Flexion Distraction

Flexion Distraction therapy aims to relieve spinal compression with the assistance of a special table and gravity, allowing the doctor to gently stretch the spine and surrounding joints. This decompression technique reduces pressure on the nerves that exit at every level of the spine, decreasing any referred pain the patient may be experiencing.

Children and chiropractic

Pediatric chiropractic care balances the developing nervous and musculoskeletal systems as a child grows. Maintaining proper mobility in the spine and rest of the body allows for symmetrical movement to support further growth and normal developmental milestones. Our goal is to address any physical restrictions they encounter as they challenge their bodies with many activities transitioning from infants to toddlers to adolescents.

ConnecTX

ConnecTX is a soft tissue mobilization technique that utilizes a small instrument to decrease pain and improve range of motion and flexibility. It allows the doctor to break up fibrous adhesions, trigger points, and scar tissue and massage damaged tissue. This technique aims to restore normal function that was disrupted by inflammation, injury, repetitive motion, or other trauma.

Pregnancy and chiropractic

The Webster Technique is a gentle and effective method for relieving discomfort many women experience during pregnancy, a period of rapid development with many physiological changes occurring. Balancing mom’s nervous system, pelvis and spine allows for an improved overall pregnancy and birthing process. This technique reduces stress on mom’s pelvic muscles and ligaments, allowing the ideal uterine environment for baby to grow and move through the phases of pregnancy and birth.
